Bleach All Seasons Apr 2026

The bulk of the "Soul Society arc." This season is a tournament-like structure where Ichigo fights every major captain. The plot thickens as the true villain emerges: , who fakes his death, reveals he orchestrated everything, and escapes to the Hollow dimension (Hueco Mundo) with the ultimate artifact, the Hogyoku.

The "Dangai Ichigo" stopping Aizen’s attack with his bare hand. Chills. Season 15: The Regai (Episodes 266–291) Arc: Gotei 13 Invading Army Arc (Part 2 – Filler) Key Episodes: 266 ("Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra? The Fake One’s Trap")

The revelation that Aizen has been manipulating everyone using his Zanpakuto’s hypnotic power (Kyoka Suigetsu) is one of anime’s greatest twists. Season 4: The Bount (Episodes 64–91) Arc: The Bount Arc (Filler) Key Episodes: 64 ("New School Term, Renji has come to the Human World?")

Another filler arc about fake captains called "Regai" created by a mad scientist. It’s repetitive and mostly ignored. Season 16: The Lost Agent (Episodes 292–366) Arc: The Fullbring Arc (Final Canon Season before the Hiatus) Key Episodes: 342 ("Thank You"), 366 ("The Changing History, Unchanging Heart") bleach all seasons

Orihime is kidnapped by Aizen’s #4 Espada, Ulquiorra Cifer, to lure Ichigo into Hueco Mundo. The season focuses on the rescue squad (Ichigo, Chad, Uryu, and Rukia) entering the Hollow fortress of Las Noches. The Espada—Aizen’s top 10 Arrancars—are ranked by tattooed numbers.

The Wandenreich, an army of Quincies led by Emperor Yhwach (the son of the Soul King), invades Soul Society. They steal the Bankai (ultimate release) of all captains. Yamamoto is brutally killed. Ichigo forges two new Zanpakuto.

Barragan, the God of Death, whose power ages anything to dust. His fight against captain-commander Yamamoto’s lieutenant, Sasakibe, is iconic. Season 11: The Zanpakuto (Episodes 206–212) Arc: The Past Arc (Turn Back the Pendulum) – CANON Key Episodes: 208 ("Aizen and the Genius Boy") The bulk of the "Soul Society arc

The war hits its peak. Aizen creates a fake Karakura Town to trap the Gotei 13 captains. The top 3 Espada (Stark, Barragan, Halibel) unleash their ultimate forms (Resurrección). This season is a visual spectacle as captains like Soi Fon and Hitsugaya fight for their lives.

Better than the Bount arc. Shorter, tighter, and with a tragic ending. Still filler, but worth watching for fans of political drama within Soul Society. Season 10: The Espada (Episodes 190–205) Arc: The Fake Karakura Town Arc (Beginning) Key Episodes: 196 ("The Ferocious Fight of the Captains")

Back to canon. Aizen’s army of Arrancars descends on Karakura Town. Ichigo meets his rival: the feral, blue-haired Grimmjow. Most importantly, the Visoreds arrive—former Soul Reapers who gained Hollow powers, led by Shinji Hirako. They offer to train Ichigo to control his inner Hollow. Chills

Note: This is the first major filler arc. Since the anime caught up to the manga, the studio created an original villain group: the Bounts—immortal humans who consume souls using living dolls called "Dolls."

Rukia’s breakdown when she realizes Kaien is truly gone is heartbreaking. Season 9: The New Captain (Episodes 168–189) Arc: The New Captain Shusuke Amagai Arc (Filler) Key Episodes: 168 ("The New Captain Appears! His Name is Shusuke Amagai")
