Version 0.3 of Boxed In continues to build an intriguing, claustrophobic atmosphere. The premise—being literally and figuratively “boxed in” by circumstances and relationships—has strong narrative legs. The character writing shows improvement from earlier builds, with more distinct personalities and believable dialogue. The branching choices are starting to matter, which is always a plus in this genre. Pacing remains an issue. The middle section of v0.3 drags with repetitive scenes, and a few typos slipped through (“definately” appears twice).
