The dictionary includes around 30,000 common words with short definitions, no pictures or audio, which is exactly what you’d expect from a lightweight app (only ~300KB). It’s offline, so no data plan needed. Navigation uses the D-pad – up/down to scroll, left/right for next/previous entry. Search is a bit slow (typing on the keypad), but it gets the job done for students or travelers.
No T9 prediction in the search field, and it crashes once if you type too fast. Also, no synonyms or examples.
Look for the JAR file on old mobile software archives or Java game sites. Make sure it says “S40 compatible.”
