The film picks up after the events of Seed of Chucky (but ignores the TV series' timeline). Glen/Glenda is out of the picture, and Tiffany has grown bored. In a drunken rage, Chucky accidentally creates a new "progeny" using a Good Guy doll and the corpse of a failed ventriloquist dummy.
