Fast-forward to present day: (Emily renamed) lives in Seattle with her abusive husband, Derek. After a violent fight, Derek is killed by a supernatural force. Madison begins having visions of murders from the killer's point of view — the killer is Gabriel , who can take over Madison’s body when she sleeps or is unconscious.

The police investigate the murders. Madison discovers she was , and Gabriel was her parasitic twin, removed but still psychically connected. Gabriel has the ability to reverse Madison's joints and control her body from the back of her head (hence his twisted form). filme maligno
