But Alice smiled. She held the key to her chest.
“I’ve found a way to keep a memory fragment. This file. L for ‘Legacy.’ 01 for the first real truth.” She held up a small brass key. “This key doesn’t open a door. It deletes the loop.”
The Last Alice Log
Behind her, the white rabbit’s ears twitched. A low hum filled the room.
“This is Log L01,” she said, her voice calm but hollow, like a recording played too many times. “If you’re watching this, the rabbit hole has closed behind you.”
Alice continued: “They told me to document my ‘Wonderland experience’ for the neural mapping project. But Wonderland isn’t a place. It’s a loop. Every time you fall down the hole, you forget the last trip. They call it ‘soft resets.’”

She glanced to the side, where a single white rabbit sat in a cage. It wasn’t moving. Its eyes were tiny red cameras.
She leaned forward, and the camera crackled with static.
A girl named Alice sat in a wooden chair, her hands folded in her lap. She wore a blue dress that seemed too clean for the dim, concrete room around her.
The static grew louder. The rabbit’s mouth opened, and instead of a squeak, a deep, synthetic voice said:
“Too late,” she whispered. “I already pressed play.”
