Dortania does not provide long-term support for old versions. Use them at your own risk. Downloading OpenCore Itself (Separate from OCLP) OpenCore Legacy Patcher bundles a pre-built version of OpenCore. You do not download OpenCore separately. When you run OCLP and click “Build and Install OpenCore,” it extracts the appropriate OpenCore release from within the patcher app.
Always start with the latest stable release. Nightlies are for solving specific hardware issues (e.g., newer GPU patching) and are not recommended for general use.
