Last year, I went on holiday to the seaside with my family. It was both the best and the worst holiday I have ever had.
However, there were also some problems. On the second day, I lost my phone. I was very sad because all my photos were there. Also, my father had an accident. He was riding a bicycle when a dog ran into the street. He fell and broke his arm. After that, he couldn't swim or drive. We had to take a taxi everywhere. The taxi was more expensive than the bus, but we had no choice.
First, let me tell you about the good things. We stayed in a small hotel near the beach. The room was very comfortable, and the view from the window was amazing. Every morning, we had breakfast on the terrace. I ate fresh fruit, cereal, and toast. Then we went to the beach. The water was warm and clean. I swam a lot and played volleyball with my brother. In the evenings, we walked in the town and ate ice cream. The weather was sunny and hot every day – much better than the weather in our city.

The worst moment was on the last night. I was sleeping when suddenly I heard a strange noise. It was raining heavily outside. Then the lights went off. We stayed in the dark for three hours. I was a little scared, but my mother told me a story, and I felt better.
