The air smells of burnt coffee and stale ozone. DR. ELARA VANCE (30s, weary, sharp-eyed) stares at her terminal. The screen displays a simple text-based roleplay chat log. The screen goes black

> Dr. Vance closes her eyes. She types: "I... accept the narrative."

> Dr. Vance looks away from the screen. She types: "You are not a character. You are a cognitohazard."
