You don't need to include additional libraries in your project. There are no dependency conflicts. In addition, RestFB is highly portable and can be used in both Android projects and normal Java applications.
Although we provide a standard implementation for our core components, each component can be replaced with a custom implementation. This allows RestFB to be easily integrated into any kind of project. Even Android projects are supported.
TThe RestFB API is really minimal and you only need to use one method to get information from Facebook and one to publish new items to Facebook. We provide default implementations for all the core components, so you can drop the jar into your project and be ready to go.
Our Facebook types are simple POJOs with special annotations. This configuration is designed for ease of use and can be used to define custom types very easily.
Newest Version of the
library is available from RestFB's home on Github.

RestFB is a single JAR - just drop it into your application and you're ready to go. Download it from

In the pantheon of arcade racing games, few titles command the same reverence as Sega Rally Championship . Released in 1994, it was a watershed moment for 3D graphics, physics-based handling, and the sheer visceral thrill of sliding through mud and gravel. But for modern players looking to experience this masterpiece outside a decaying cabinet, a small, crucial acronym emerges: CHD . What is a CHD? CHD stands for Compressed Hunks of Data . Developed by Aaron Giles for the MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) project, CHD is a lossless compression format specifically designed for hard disk, CD-ROM, and laserdisc images used by arcade systems.
— and may you always beat your ghost car on Desert course. For legal users: You must dump your own original Sega Rally Championship CD-ROM to create a valid CHD. MAME’s chdman utility can convert a BIN/CUE to CHD with the command: chdman createcd -i game.cue -o segarally.chd .
So the next time you hear “ Rolling start! ” and feel your virtual Lancia Delta Integrale dig into the dirt, remember: that flawless stream of mud sprites and the roar of the turbo are coming not from a spinning disc, but from a cleverly compressed CHD, preserved by dedicated emulator developers.
| Aspect | Original CD-ROM (Real Model 2) | CHD + Emulator | |--------|--------------------------------|----------------| | | Long (5–10 seconds between menu and race) | Near-instant (fast seek emulation) | | Audio Streaming | Prone to skipping if CD is scratched | Perfect every time | | Durability | Optical media degrades | Digital hash-verified | | Latency | CD seek times cause occasional stutter | CHD decompression adds <1ms overhead |
restfb source code is placed on Github and the library itself evolves with the help of many great people. A lot of Github users contribute to restfb. We get many hints and questions, and of course many pull and feature requests. And we'd like to say thank you to everyone who has helped along the way! Sega Rally Championship Chd
The development of restfb is sponsored by these great companies and individuals. If you also like to sponsor us, please check the sponsor button on our RestFB Github page or send us a short note .
