One night, Kenzie discovers Dante rifling through Mark’s old safe. Instead of calling Sloane, she confronts him. Expecting violence, she gets charisma. Dante tells her the truth (or a version of it): “Your father stole from my family. I’m here to take back what’s mine.” He shows her forged documents. He then makes Kenzie a proposition: Help me get the money, and I’ll give you half. You’ll never need Sloane again.
The final scene: Dante is arrested. The money is recovered (Sloane donates it to a dance scholarship for at-risk youth in Mark’s name).
