Tafseer Kabuli Dari Pdf Site

Introduction For Persian-speaking Muslims, particularly in Afghanistan, Iran, and Central Asia, understanding the Qur’an in their native tongue has always been a priority. Among the most celebrated Dari Persian exegeses (tafasir) is the work known as Tafseer Kabuli , more formally titled Tafsir al-Husayni . This article explores the origins, author, style, and significance of this influential tafsir, and provides guidance on accessing it in PDF format for legitimate study. What is Tafseer Kabuli? Tafseer Kabuli (تفسیر کابلی) literally means “The Exegesis of Kabul.” It is a complete commentary on the Holy Qur’an written in Dari Persian (the Afghan dialect of Persian, also known as Farsi-ye Dari). The work is also widely known as Tafsir al-Husayni (تفسیر حسینی), named after its author, and occasionally as Tafsir-e Mirza Muhammad Husayn .

Despite the name “Kabuli,” the tafsir was not written in Kabul, Afghanistan. The name likely derives from the author’s association with the city or from the fact that the manuscript became popular among Afghan scholars and students in Kabul over the centuries. The author of Tafseer Kabuli is Mirza Muhammad Husayn al-Husayni al-Qazvini (میرزا محمد حسین حسینی قزوینی). He was a prominent Twelver Shi’a scholar, philosopher, and exegete born in Qazvin, Iran. He later moved to India, where he lived and taught. His death is recorded around 1192 AH (1778 CE) in the city of Lucknow, India. Tafseer Kabuli Dari Pdf
