For decades, VMware Workstation Pro has been the gold standard for desktop virtualization. It’s a powerhouse: snapshots, advanced networking, cloning, encryption, and support for massive enterprise environments. But with that power comes complexity. The installer hovers around 500 MB. The interface is packed with buttons for features many of us never use. It’s a Swiss Army knife when all we need is a sharp blade.
