Dilwale is not a good film by conventional standards. The plot holes are huge enough to park a truck (literally—many trucks appear). The villain is forgettable. The logic defies physics. But as a cultural artifact , it’s brilliant. It’s Bollywood doing what it does best: delivering a masala film that doesn’t apologize for being ridiculous.
